Hampta Pass Trek with Chandratal Lake Itinerary 

Day 1: Manali to Jobra by road and Trek to Chikka (drive- 40 mins and Trek- 3-4 hours)

After reaching Manali, you can collect your packed lunch and attend the trek introduction session by the guides. You will get to know about this trek in brief and you can ask if you have any doubt.

You will then head towards Jobra Village, 40 minutes away from Manali. Start the trek from Jobra to Chikka. enjoy trekking through picturesque landscapes and explore Kullu Vallye’s hidden beauty.

This trek will take around 3-4 hours to reach Chikka’s campsite. 

Day 2: Resume Trekking From Chikka to Balu Ka Ghera

The trekking trail to Balu Ka Ghera takes you through rocky river banks, waterfalls, and beautiful Himalayas. After passing all the challenges on the trek, you will reach the beautiful campsite of Balu Ka Ghera. Get into your campsite and relax for some time before dinner. End your day with a delicious dinner and stargazing. Get proper sleep for the adventure on next day. 

Day 3: Journey From Balu Ka Ghera to Sia and Hampta Pass Crossing

Today your journey will include trekking towards Shia Ghoru from Balu Ka Ghera via Hampta Pass. This part of the trek is challenging but full of excitement. Today you will cover a distance of 5 km in around 9 hours.

The ascent to Hampta Pass is steep and the descent towards Shia Ghoru is straight. You will climb The Hampta Pass after a few hours of trekking but the trek is still incomplete.

You will descend to Shea Ghoru, this section of the trek is easy and you will complete it without any difficulty. 

Day 4: Trek to Chatru from Sia Ghoru and then drive to Chandratal 

Enjoy breakfast at the Sia Ghoru campsite before starting your drive and trek for around 2 hours. After you arrive at the Chatru Campsite put your luggage in Tents and drive towards Chandratal.

This is an excellent lake that offers wonderful views and a wide range of flora and fauna. Head back to Chatru and relax at the campsite after dinner. 

Day 5: Drive to Manali from Chatru via Atal Tunnel
