The Land Down Under is huge. Who has not been here, can’t even start to imagine the vastness of Australian territory. The plains, the hills, the seaside- all of the things you could desire are there.

Because of this, it is definitely not easy to plan out your holiday in this country. What to see first, where to go? Should you go straight to Sydney, or take a trip through some of Australia’s finest vineyards?

The truth of the matter is, no matter where you go, you will definitely have a good time and your Australian vacation will definitely be the one to remember.

Sydney and its beaches

Sydney and its beaches

Sydney is an enormous city with so many great places to be at and enjoy while on vacation. While you can chill in its cafes, or dine in its fine restaurants, one thing that is a must see in Sydney is , of course, the Sydney Opera House.

This majestic building is an architectural marvel. It is well known all across the world as its design is stunningly impecable. Visit the Opera House during the day as well as night as it will appear in two totally different lights.

After you’ve finished with the historical tour of Sydney, it is now time to sit back and relax, or lay back for that matter. Lay on the sand on one of the many beaches that Sydney has to offer and breathe in the fresh sea air.

There are many beaches here that have it all, surfing, sunbathing, beautiful sands and much more. Bondi beach is great for partying and Fisherman’s beach, for example, is one of the best beach wedding venues in the world. So, Sydney is quite alright for getting wed at a beach and honeymooning too.

A trip through the wine country

Vineyard
Whether or not you are a wine person, it does not matter while in Australia. Did you know that Australia is one of the world’s leading wine manufacturers?

Because of its suitable climate, many kinds of wines are being grown all over the country and that is why it is a must to take a trip through some of Australia’s finest vineyards.

Just a several hours ride from Adelaide, lays the Barossa Valley. The beautiful nature of the valley work wonders on your eyes the second you approach it. This valley is famous for having the largest number of vintage wines in Australia, which you can enjoy in some of Barossa Valley’s best restaurants.

If you do a little research, you will find that there are plenty of wine tour offers in Australia. Visit the Margaret River, Hunter Valley, or even some vineyards of Tasmania. Try out Cabernet Sauvignon, the popular Shiraz and many other classic wines, while enjoying the scenery and nature.

Australian Safari Tours

Australian Safari Tours
If you are more of an adventurer, your wild spirits could be entertained on one of the famous Australian safaris. Unlike African safari, the Australian safari does not involve lions, zebras and similar animals.

There are a lot of interesting and exciting experiences you can live through on a safari. You can see the Komodo Dragon, kangaroos, emus, spiders, koalas and many other smaller critters that roam the Australian plains. I will be a once in a lifetime experience.

Lastly, if you are really, over-the-top daredevil, then you can take your vacation under the sea. Dive with all kinds of sharks, stingrays, and other dangerous sea dwellers. Don’t miss out on the Australian wildlife, it is recently tamed, and you can still smell its historical wilderness.

So, there you go. This is only a small fraction of what you can do and see in Australia, but I think it covers a wide range of different activities which just goes to say that you will most definitely not be bored or without impressions when you vacation is finally over.
